There’s only one vehicle tough enough to play in this world.

When Activision, producers of Call of Duty®: Black Ops, were looking for an automotive partner tough enough for this year’s most anticipated entertainment launch, they looked no further than Jeep®.

Announced back in October, the partnership between Activision and Jeep includes both in-game integration into Call of Duty®: Black Ops and the production of a limited edition Call of Duty®: Black Ops™ Edition 2011 Jeep Wrangler.

Based on the Rubicon model, fans can choose from a two-door or four-door black Wrangler with Call of Duty®: Black Ops graphics on the roof and front quarter panels. The Call of Duty®: Black Ops Edition Wrangler also features Mineral Gray alloy Rubicon wheels, 32” off-road tires, live axles with locking differentials in the front and rear, a two-speed transfer case, and Mopar® tail lamp guards and a fuel-filler door.

I sure wish our local dealership in Suffolk, VA, Starr Motors could get a “Black Ops” Jeep. I wish Jeep would build one for Starr Motors.

We have one on order, can’t wait to see it!

Drove the 2011 Grand Cherokee about 500 miles over the weekend. Awesome! Love the keyless entry and could not believe how strong the six cylinder engine is. I averaged 21 mpg for entire trip.

I went to the PHX auto show last weekend and say the Black Ops edition there. Can I just say. That is one sweet machine. I want I want I want I need.

Jeep…the Black Ops is awesome…hope you make a Rubi Black Ops Gladiator soon. I’ve been holding out since 1993 for a Real JEEP truck!

Wow, the jeep in the game looks so cool! My family used to own several jeeps back in the day, but they were nowhere near as cool as the black ops one ;).

I’ve played the game and Loved the addition of the Jeep to the game play. The way it handles as I shoot tanks and the ruff and rugged reliable look it also has. A great feature to the game which I wish was available in the multi-player mode as well.

I’m kind of over the COD series..but will be playing Black Ops, just for the Jeep!

I love Jeeps because they’re great for off-road driving which I do for a hobby. I’m also a fan of first-person-shooters; they bring out my rugged warrior tendencies. Black ops rocks.

Play the game;love the game;become the game.

I really like the new COD Jeep. I test drove one in Boulder, CO. Handles just like a wrangler should, felt like it was just as capable as other models. I defiantly like the gray alloy wheels and the nice tires that come with it. The axle lockers, I’m sure, will be very appreciated. It was dark when I finally got to the dealership so I didn’t really see too much of the interior. The salesman also told me to slow down through a little puddle, but I did get to take it over some little curbs and hills. : ) I think it’s great the Jeep remembers it’s birthplace with this game. Whoever decided to pair the military with Jeep again is a genius. Too bad I don’t have a system… I have to settle for playing at friends places. : (

There’s only one vehicle tough enough to play in my world. : )

Haven’t purchased COD Black Ops yet so I’ll give this a go :) def a huge fan of the game and Jeep so looking for a little good luck fun :D

I have to agree that putting the Jeep back in the front lines is a beautiful thing to see. After the first few CoD’s they got stale and I moved on but I will definitely have to get this installment of the series. The Jeep looks like it drives and handles better than the PS2 Jeep game which I also bought when it came out. I was never big on the 4 doors either being a true Wrangler fan, but I might have to rethink that school of thought as well. I miss my Columbia Edition 2004 TJ, might be time for a new limited edition! :D

After beating the game, I went and test drived the Jeep. I almost expected the saleman to throw on some army fatigues and ask me to drive the thing through a warzone. Its just about the most rugged vehicle on the planet.

  • Rich

The COD Black Ops Jeep looks sharp. My local dealer doesn’t have one, but the pictures look impressive.

  • Ty

WoW The COD Black Ops Jeep looks so awesome. If I could I would love to get one.

  • Shiloh
